1. This law guaranties that personal data will be treated respecting natural person's rights, freedom, and dignity, in particular for what concerns discretion and personal identity, and it also guaranties juridical persons and any other institution or association rights too.
2. According with this law we mean:
a) by "data bank", any complex whole of personal data, divided in one or more unities located in one or more sites, organized following a large number of principles that are easy to follow;
b) by "treatment", any action or number of actions carried out using or not using electronical means, that concerns data collection, registration, organization, preservation, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, confrontation, use, interconnection, block (control), communication, diffusion, cancellation and data distruction;
c) by "personal datum", any information concerning the natural person, the juridical person, identified or identifiable, even not directly, by referring to any other information, that could comprehend even a personal identification number;
d) by "Holder", the natural person, the juridical person, the public administration or any other institution that make decisions in the matter of means and aims of personal data treatment, including security;
e) by "responsible", the natural person, the juridical person, the public administration or any other institution, association or organization put by the "holder" at head of personal data treatment;
f) by "person concerned", the natural person, the juridical person, the institution or association that personal data refer to.
g) by "comunication", to give informations regarding personal data to one or more subjects other than the "person concerned", in any form even by giving the opprtunity of data consulting ;
h) by "diffusion", to give informations regarding personal data to undetermined subjects, in any form, even by giving the opprtunity of data consulting ;
i) by " anonymous datum", a datum that at the origin , or following a treatment, cannot be associated to an identified or identifiable "person concerned";
l) by "block", personal data conservation momentanuosly suspending any other action;
m) by" guarantor", the established authority according with article number 30. |
